In a breakthrough with police officials of Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, Samyukt Kisan Morcha leaders were able to jointly finalize routes for the Kisan Republic Day Parade. Preparations are in full swing for disciplined conduct of the same. Response from farmers and their supporters has been tremendous from all over the country.

Farmers across the country supported the call of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha to celebrate Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s birthday as “Azad Hind Kisan Diwas”. Today, farmers protested in different places for demanding the repeal of three farm laws and legalising MSP.

So far at least 151 peoples have lost their lives in this movement. We extend our deep condolences to all martyrs. They had expected the success of this movement by complete rollback of these laws.

Farmers and labourers continue to come to Delhi from all over the country.

Preparations are going on at different places for the Kisan Republic Parade announced by the Morcha.

The ‘Kisan Delhi Chalo Yatra’ which ran from Odisha reached Ghazipur border. Around 1000 farmers from Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh joined the Delhi morcha via this march. Protests were held in Bhubaneswar by AIARLA workers.

Farmers protested in many places including Ganjam and Balangir in Odisha. A protest was organized in Malia of Gujarat by the Malia Mahila Shakti Sangathan.

200 women and 300 male farmers associated with Gujarat Khedut Manch will reach Shahjahanpur tomorrow.

Agricultural Workers organised a foot march in Garhwa, Jharkhand. In Ranchi, local people and farmers marched towards Raj Bhavan.

In Madhya Pradesh, including Bhopal, Bhind, Rewa, Gwalior, farmers are continuously protesting with indefinite sit-ins.

In Bihar, including Darbhanga, Bhojpur, there are demonstrations in many places. In Patna’s Gandhi Maidan, remembering Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, the farmers vowed to make the farmer movement successful.

Thousands of farmers marched to Raj Bhavan in Tamil Nadu, later some of them were arrested.

Under the leadership of Samyukta Shetkari Kamgar Morcha, celebrating Azad Hind Kisan Divas, a march of 20,000 vehicles was organised from Nashik to Mumbai. From other districts of Maharashtra too, vehicle marches are being organised towards Mumbai.

A batch of farmers from Kota division left for Shahjahanpur border.

Rashtriya Kisan Mahasangh organized ‘Shaheed Samman Yatra’ in Sonipat in which a call was made to join the Kisan Republic Parade on 26 January. The hundreds of farmers of Chhattisgarh will leave for Delhi Morcha after submitting their memorandum to the Governor.
