#UAPA; CPI(M)’s Double standard policy is out in broad day light one more time: Ami Roop Shyna

_ Ami Roop Shyna

CPI(M)’s Double standard policy is out in broad day light one more time. In Kerala, Alleged Maoist prisoner Roopesh was discharged from UA(P)A in three cases last year. Now, the so called “communist” government of Kerala is challenging the mentioned discharge at Supreme Court and they want the UA(P)A sections to be reinstated in the case. On one side, they are singing songs of democracy and revolution, and stating UA(P)A as a draconian Law, on the other side, they are competing BJP-ruled states in the number of prisoners and cases under UA(P)A.

Although it is not that shocking if we look into the fact that 7 Maoist revolutionaries are being killed in staged encounter (without a single casualty on the states side) under this same CPI(M) led government. Even in West Bengal, during their regime they used UA(P)A and other draconian means to suppress the people’s voice and it should be clear by now, that it was not the fault of CPI(M) of one single state or some Individual leaders. It is CPI(M)’s over all political practice and policies which makes the apparatus of the state.
Lets raise our voice.
