Prof. PK Vijayan, faculty at English Department in Hindu College, Delhi University have been summoned to appear before National Investigation Agency on 14 August. The NIA under Amit Shah’s Home Ministry are aggressively targeting activists, academicians and journalists under Bhima Koregaon case, in which recently the DU professor Hany Babu was arrested after an year of witch-hunting. The BJP-RSS state is intensifying their fascist attack on every democratic voice in the country, while the people of the country face an all round crisis.

Prof. PK Vijayan is an eminent scholar and one of the foremost progressive voices in Delhi University. He have relentlessly stood with the students’ and larger democratic movement. PK Vijayan was previously also attacked by the BJP state in which he along with others were spied on and surveilled using an Israeli malware software.

Bhima Koregaon case unveils the extent of fascist aggression in the country by Hindu nationalist brahminical forces, with criminalization of any dissenting voice. It is the duty of student movement to unitedly resist the attack on our teachers and university spaces.
