Yashwant Sinha; Sponsor of Blood Thirsty Ranvir Sena!
“We kill children because they will grow up to become Naxalites. We kill women because they will give birth to Naxalites…”
_ Ranvir Sena
Ranvir Sena is an armed mercenary militia formed by upper-caste Bhumihar Brahmin and Rajput landlords to attack the Naxalite groups, People’s War Group (PWG) and Maoist Communist Centre (MCC), Dalit- backward caste uprisings and CPI(ML) Liberation who protected the interests of Dalits. Sena is infamous for slaughtering Naxalites, Dalits and lower-caste Hindus. Sarthua (1995), Bathani Tola (1996), Laxmanpur Bathe (1997), Shankar Bigha (1999), Miyanpur (2000) and Ikwari (1997) are the few massacres by Ranvir Sena.
The presidential candidate of the Opposition who is supported unitedly by CPI(M), CPI, CPI(ML) Liberation,
Mr Yashwant Sinha is the one who directly provided financial assistance and political impunity to the Ranvir Sena between 1994 and 2000. A sting operation by Cobrapost reveals the role of Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar, Yashwant Sinha, Murli Manohar Joshi and Sushil Singh Modi in helping the Ranvir Sena. These parliamentary left parties might have forgotten the hundreds of Dalits and comrades including of CPI(ML) Liberation murdered by Ranvir Sena. On what merit are these organisations supporting him who is currently with TMC which is also blamed for murdering CPI(M) cadres?
Following are the few reported massacres carried out by Ranvir Sena (RS) in which even Bihar state Police participated with the murderers.

The former IAS officer Yashwant Sinha’s association with Ranvir Sena was there when he was with Janata Dal and BJP. He was the Finance minister in Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar’s Cabinet. After quitting Janata national because of its decline, he joined BJP because of the influence of LK Advani. He was made spokesperson of the BJP in 1996 because of his close bond with Advani. He became Minister of Finance and External Affairs during different terms under Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He didn’t quit BJP because of remorse or humane politics. It was because he was not offered a seat by BJP for the Lok Sabha elections. This opportunistic power greedy, pro-corporate and Brahmanic stooge switched to TMC for power. Just because he criticises Modi and BJP doesn’t mean that he is anti-Hindutva. Even there is infighting and competition among Hindutva parties and leaders.
This unity between parliamentary left parties for a presidential candidate is not the unity of anti-fascists but the unity between opportunists and revisionists who have betrayed martyrs and movements.
